Dr. Gary Kiekhoefer is the senior Doctor of Chiropractic and owner of Kiekhoefer Chiropractic in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. He has been treating patients in the Cottage Grove area since 1989.
Dr. Kiekhoefer grew up in Oakdale, Minnesota and graduated from Tartan High School in 1981. He learned the value of hard work from his father who often worked two to three jobs. While playing college baseball at the University of St. Thomas, a back injury caused him to seek chiropractic care for the first time.
His success with chiropractic care and his interest in the body’s ability to heal itself when subluxations are removed lead him to change his lifetime goal of attending medical school to attending chiropractic college. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from St. Thomas in 1985 and graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1988.
In 1989, Dr. Kiekhoefer opened Kiekhoefer Chiropractic in Cottage Grove. He has been blessed to be a part of the community for almost 25 years. His practice is family-oriented, treating patients of all ages, from infants to patients in their nineties.
Dr. Kiekhoefer has received additional training in sports injuries and is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP). His practice has a special emphasis on sports injuries, acute injuries, rehabilitation, and wellness care.
In his free time, Dr. Kiekhoefer enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. The family is sport-oriented and they enjoy tennis, golf, softball, basketball, boating, and a variety of other sports. Dr. Kiekhoefer is a member of the Cottage Grove Lions Club, Cottage Grove Chamber of Commerce, and the Minnesota Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Lance Glaser joined Kiekhoefer Chiropractic in 2005. He attended the University of Minnesota, Morris as an undergrad and graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic College in 1997. He has been a chiropractor for 15 years.
Dr. Glaser grew up in Lakefield, a small town in Southwestern MN. After receiving chiropractic care as a young teenager for headaches due to a football injury, he realized the great benefits that chiropractic care can provide. Dr. Glaser's passion is to empower others to achieve a higher quality of life through chiropractic care.
Chiropractic is about bringing balance into the human body. Dr. Glaser believes he was gifted with a heart and passion for helping people. He can meet you wherever your needs are, whether it be pain relief or making healthy lifestyle changes.
Balance is not just a part of Dr. Glaser's professional life, but also part of his personal life. When he is not working with patients, he can usually be found mentoring children as a coach. He enjoys helping kids discover that they can achieve personal greatness they never knew they had.
Dr. Glaser also gives back to his faith community by being active in the music ministry and leading worship in a praise band. He and his wife are blessed with two wonderful children. Much of Dr. Glaser's home time is devoted to his family and teaching his children to practice compassion and love toward others.
